Funeral Costs
Funeral Expenses – Traditional Burial Packages
When you purchase a traditional burial package it will usually include removal of the body from the place of death, embalming and preparation for visitation (dressing, cosmetology and casketing), storage, the viewing or visitation, the funeral ceremony, and the delivery of the body to the cemetery. The funeral home’s basic service fee will usually not be included in the burial package price.
There are many different types of burial packages. Each funeral home will have their own list of included and excluded items. While some burial packages will include the price of caskets and burial vaults, others may not. The prices below do not include a burial vault or a casket. Traditional burial packages range from $2,620 to $6,000 dependent on inclusions.
