Funeral Ceremony Fees
The ceremony fee is the charge for supervising and coordinating the funeral arrangements and assisting with the ceremony. Most funeral homes charge the same amount for a funeral ceremony at their facility as they charge for a ceremony held elsewhere like at a church or other place of worship. Some funeral homes charge more for funerals held on a Saturday or Sunday. Funeral ceremony fees range from $200 to $1,425.
The National Funeral Director’s Association’s 2006 survey found that the average Funeral Ceremony facility and staff fee for facilities and staff was $463.
